The Esplanade Surf School has a fantastic position on the Esplanade at St Clair Beach, Dunedin.
We are the only licensed surf school to operate at St Clair Beach and we are a Surfing New Zealand approved surf school. Head Instructor, Steve, is also a Surfing New Zealand Supervisor Coach assisting new instructors to achieve their qualifications.
Our main aim is to improve your surfing in the safest and quickest way. Our team of dedicated qualified surf instructors will leave no stone unturned in their quest to help you achieve this.
We cater for all levels, all abilities, all ages – from the under 5′s through to the over 60′s. Don’t worry about getting cold … we won’t be sending you out in bikinis and boardshorts! You will be fitted into a wetsuit to ensure you are warm and toasty during your lesson.
If you are just looking for a board and/or wettie then we can help you out there as well. We have a range of boards available for hire from our learner boards through to more high performance boards.
