Who’s Who?

Steve Bennett  

Steve is our qualified Coaching Director of the school and has been involved in surfing for over  30 years.  He has been a junior Otago coach for several years, been involved with junior surfing development in Otago and is also a qualified judge.  He tries to fit in a bit of that in his spare time – when he gets it!  

Ben Bennett

 Ben has surfing since he was 10 years old and has competed at surfing events throughout New Zealand.  Ben has been an Otago surfing representative several times and was also a member of the South Island Surfing Team.  Ben has won numerous South Island competitions as well as being a regular competitor in the U20 comps in the North Island.  He is a born and bred local and in his spare times enjoys free surfing, Muay Thai kick boxing, fishing and socialising.

We also have a group of seasonal instructors who return over the summer period to help out over the busy season.
